Last known position and engine state for every vehicle with a Samsara gateway. Rows go red when Samsara has not heard from the gateway in 24 hours.

Fleet board
One tile per asset, grouped by garage location. Color shows registration standing. A ring dot marks assets with a Samsara gateway. Click a tile to open and edit it.
Utilization
Distance, engine hours and idle time per vehicle per day from Samsara. The last three days are provisional: Samsara keeps processing them for up to 72 hours, so they are refreshed every 15 minutes and finalized by the morning sync.
Pulls one day at a time from Samsara and skips days already stored, so it is safe to run again. A full year takes a few minutes; leave this tab open. Days before a gateway was installed come back empty.
What can be measured
Utilization needs a usage source. Assets with a Samsara gateway (VG55 vehicle gateway or AG51/AG53 asset gateway) report automatically. Everything else needs manual odometer or hour-meter entry, which you can type into the asset record.

Powered road vehicles are trucks, vans and SUVs. Overseas units are shown separately because they sit outside the Samsara account.

An asset with lapsed registration cannot be dispatched on public roads, so these items affect usable fleet size directly.
